What are the check-in and check-out times at BIG4 Apollo Bay?

• Cabins: Check-in is from 2:00 pm.

• Powered Sites: Check-in is from 12:00 pm.

• Check-out: All guests must check out by 10:00 am on the day of departure.

What are the reception hours?

Our reception is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

• Late Arrivals: If you are arriving after 6:00 pm, please contact us during business hours at (03) 5237 6749 to arrange your after-hours check-in.

• Emergencies: An emergency contact number is displayed outside the reception area for assistance outside of office hours.

Are dogs allowed at BIG4 Pisces Apollo Bay?

Except for medically certified assistance dogs, animals are not permitted in our park. This ensures a consistent environment for all our guests.

Can I have a campfire at my site?

To ensure the safety of all guests, we do not allow individual fires on sites. However, we have a fantastic communal pit located within the park for everyone to enjoy.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

Our policies are designed to be flexible based on the season and the type of booking you choose. Park Rules & Safety

Are helmets required for bikes and scooters?

Yes. To comply with safety regulations, helmets must always be worn by guests using bikes, scooters, or similar equipment. For safety, these are not permitted to be used after daylight hours.

Can I use e-scooters or e-bikes in the park?

E-rideables and electronic micro-mobility devices, including e-scooters and e-bikes, are not permitted for use in the park at any time.

What are the rules for bunk beds?

In accordance with Australian Standards, children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to sleep on the top bunk. Children must not play on top bunks at any time.

What is the speed limit in the park?

The safety of our families and children is paramount. All vehicles must adhere to a speed limit of 10km/h within the park grounds.

What should I do in an emergency?

In the case of an emergency, notify reception or call 000. If an evacuation is ordered:

1. Secure your valuables and turn off power/gas to your site.

2. Gather your family and walk to the Playground Area (Assembly Point).

3. Do not attempt to move your car, caravan, or motorhome.

Absolutely! Our park is the perfect base for exploring the Great Ocean Road. Guests love our proximity to these local icons:

• Apollo Bay Foreshore & Beach: Just a 1.5km walk or cycle along the beach path to the town centre for swimming, surfing, and the Saturday foreshore market.

• Marriner’s Lookout: A short 10-minute walk from the hilltop car park offers spectacular panoramic views of Apollo Bay and the harbour.

• The Twelve Apostles: A scenic 1.5-hour drive along the coast takes you to Australia’s most famous limestone stacks.
