  • Cape Patton Lookout with spectacular views east of Apollo Bay and Skenes Creek. Access from the Great Ocean Road, east of Apollo Bay.
  • Rainbow Falls is easy to reach on a half-day hike and is located at Station Beach close to the Great Ocean Walk.
  • Crowsnest Lookout has an elevation of 334 metres.
  • The Gable Lookout in the Great Otway National Park has magnificent views over the iconic cliffs of the Great Ocean Road.
  • West Barwon Reservoir at 480 Apollo Bay-Forrest Road is a nice place for a picnic with a great view.
  • Triplet Falls has a stunning one hour look walk through ancient rainforest.
  • Little Aire Falls in the Great Otway National Park is a 2.5km walk each way on a clear track with some steps.
  • Hopetoun Falls, Aire Valley Road, Beech Forest is where you’ll soak up the spray as the falls plummet 30 metres into the Aire River.
  • Beauchamp Falls (featured) isa 20 metre waterfall that crashes over a ledge into a large pool.

  • Paradise Picnic Reserve is a nice little spot just 7 kilometres from Apollo Bay on the Barham River Road.
  • Lake Elizabeth which is just outside Forrest is very popular with heavily timbered flanks and calm waters.
